Reproductive Tract Infection Pathogens Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (qPCR)‌

*Research use only

Background

The transmission of pathogens causing reproductive tract infections: in adults, it is mainly through sexual contact; in newborns, it is caused by infection during delivery through the mother's reproductive tract. In adult males, the infection site is the urethral mucosa, while in adult females, it is the cervix. Newborns mainly develop conjunctivitis and pneumonia.

Introduction

This kit is used for the qualitative detection of nucleic acids of Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), Mycoplasma hominis (MH), and Mycoplasma genitalium (Mg) in samples of male urethral secretions and female genital tract secretions. This product can distinguish the above 5 types of reproductive tract infection pathogens in the samples, but does not distinguish the specific types of the same pathogen. The test results can be used for the auxiliary diagnosis of reproductive tract pathogen infections.
